How do I know what size clothing to order for my child?
We strongly suggest that you visit your child's school and ask to see sizing samples prior to placing orders for customized apparel. You may also refer to the sizing charts on our website. When in doubt, it is recommended to order one size larger.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Yes, we do accept returns and exchanges. Please see the Returns & Exchanges page for instructions on returning an item.

Do I have to place my order online?
Yes. Retail orders can only be placed online. Once we receive your order, our specialists pick your items and add them to our production queue for any needed customizations.

How do I know my information is secure?
School Basics takes the security of your information very seriously. The website is fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, which is a set of security requirements set by Visa, MasterCard, and the other major payment brands, for card payments. We do not store your payment information on our servers and all transactions are encrypted and transmitted securely.

What company do you use for shipping?
All orders are shipped via USPS or UPS depending on the size and weight of your package. It is at the delivery driver’s discretion to request a signature. To ensure delivery, we recommend that you provide a shipping address where an adult is available to sign.

How long will it take for my package to arrive?
All orders for customized apparel normally take 5 to 10 business days to ship. This does not include weekends or holidays. Once your order ships, allow 2 to 3 additional business days for delivery.

Can I expedite my order?
Sorry, we do not offer expedited shipping services at this time.

What should I do if I did not receive my order-confirmation email?
If you did not receive a confirmation email, you can view your order details by signing into your online account if you have one. Or check your junk or spam folder to ensure an email from did not get blocked from your inbox. If so, please add to your email client's whitelist to prevent this from happening again in the future.

Where are your products manufactured and customized?
At, we order blank products from USA based distributors and manufacturers and each product label lists its country of origin. All product customizations are made by in our New York facility.
